Let’s face it, golf shoes aren’t known for being stylish. Historically they were solely designed for the utility of grounding your feet as you swing — or in our case, hack — at the ball. But adidas has upped the game with these Adicross Bounce shoes.
Bounce cushioning provides enhanced stability on your swing, while the leather and synthetic upper and foam midsole add lightweight comfort and support for 18 holes. The Adiwear outsole offers durability for wear on and off the course. Instead of spikes, the bottom features 181 strategically-placed lugs (see image at bottom) for optimal grip that make them great for golf, but also comfortable on any surface.
We recently got a pair and couldn’t be happier. Not only do they handle a weekend round of golf, but they look and feel great off the green. They feel both grounded and offer flexibility in the upper sole. And the off-center lacing really sets them apart.
Sure, you probably won’t play like adidas-branded pro Dustin Johnson, but you may look as good as him off the green. Maybe.
