Ororo Heated Gloves

Ororo Heated Gloves

If you’ve ever been in extremely cold weather, you know how important it is to keep your hands and feet warm. While heated socks are old hat, heated gloves are not. That’s why we’re excited about these Ororo heated gloves.

Ororo calls this a 3-in-1 Versatility Glove System because you can wear the inner fleece liner alone for a more streamlined look, the outer glove by itself in more extreme environments, or both pieces together.

They work like this: the inner glove contains the heating element, while the outer liner is designed for added protection in extreme cold, wet, or windy weather conditions.

Heating is adjustable, with three settings (Low, Medium, High). According to Ororo, the High setting will get you 2.5 hours of battery, while Low lasts for 6 hours. The battery is a 7.4V rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.

Additionally, the gloves are waterproof, snowproof and windproof, making them ideal for skiers or cold-weather hikers. And if you want to grab a quick selfie on the slopes, both the outer shell and heated liner gloves are designed with touchscreen-sensitive fabric so you can use your smart phone.

Right now the gloves are on pre-order via Ororo’s Kickstarter page, where the gloves are going for $99 (or $100 off MSRP).
