The 2027 Porsche Cayenne Electric can now close its own doors, massage your back in time with the stereo, and arrive wearing one of 105 paint colors, because restraint has never sold many Porsches.

The headline option is a set of electrically operated doors. Give a handle a short pull and a servo finishes the job; from inside, the doors can be controlled through cabin buttons or the central display. The driver’s door can even close when you fasten the seat belt or press the brake. Sensors watch for people and obstacles, and manual operation remains available for those stubborn occasions when one wishes to interact physically with an automobile.

Porsche has also paired 16 air cushions and six sound actuators in each front seat with a new massage system. Five programs combine conventional pressure with selectable vibration, while the company’s 4D audio can pulse the seat along with the music. More consequential for the bodywork, Paint to Sample adds 92 shades to the existing 13-color palette. The range now totals 105 finishes, so choosing the color may take longer than charging the battery. Interior options expand too, including additional leather and Race-Tex surfaces plus Delgada Green decorative stitching.
