Bell & Ross is releasing a limited-edition watch, the BR V2-94 Racing Bird, that’s inspired by their passion for aviation. Bell & Ross likes flying so much that their design studio put their unique touch on a high-speed plane, the BR-Bird, an ultramodern single-seat, propeller-engine aircraft. The watchmaker is marking the occasion with two watches. Our favorite is this chronograph.

On the dial, the numerals use the same typography as the onboard counters, and the date window shows three numerals–a direct reference to flight instrumentation. The final touch is the silhouette of the aircraft on the case back and at the base of the second hand and the second timer. This 41 mm beauty is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement.

We can also imagine that this watch would look fantastic with a great NATO strap that has a similar color scheme.
