Nike PG3 NASA: Paul George’s Third Signature Shoe

Here it is, our new favorite shoe. The debut colorway of NBA great Paul George’s third signature shoe, the Nike PG3, is inspired by the NASA research center in his hometown of Palmdale, Calif.

George was so inspired by lunar exploration that the shoe’s heel features one of George’s favorite quotes: “Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon.”

George had three goals with his latest shoe: Make it lighter (it’s nearly an ounce less). Give it better traction (circular traction pattern improves grip). Make it fit better (it features free-floating, synthetic “wings” across the forefoot.)

And yes, the nerd in us can’t wait to get a pair.
